Course Description

It can be difficult and complicated to transform a 3D model into an animation asset. This course, 3dsMax Rigging Fundamentals will teach you how to create a character rig that is ready for animation. You'll start by creating a model, then move on to skeletons, controls, and scene preparation. Next, you will add more complicated rigging components such as kinematics and custom attributes, along with industry-standard setups such as the reverse foot. You'll then attach the geometry to your rig using constraints and skinning. Finally, you will enhance the rig further by adding custom attributes, and diving into the intricacies and the Reaction Manager. After completing this course, your custom animation rig will be completed. You'll also have an in-depth understanding of the tools and methods used to create production-level rigs. Autodesk 3ds max is required.
