Course Description

Businesses need to simplify their logic in order to be able to execute serverless anytime, anywhere. Most of these functions require that others complete their parts first. This can make it difficult to coordinate. This course, Building Multi-step Applications using AWS Step Functions, will teach you how to create workflows that link multiple Lambda Functions together and other services so each can be executed according to a set rules and decisions. You will first learn how to create Step Function workflows. Next, we will look at the various workflow Step types and how to use them to create complex yet easily-visualized workflows. Once you have created your workflows, you'll learn how to trigger them and trace their execution. You will also be able to handle any errors and log the execution flow. You will also learn about the limitations and best practices for Step Functions. This course will teach you how to take your existing business logic, serverless functions, and break them down into smaller pieces that can be added to different workflows to meet your business needs.
