Course Description

3D animation looks too smooth. While everyone can visually judge weight, students have trouble adding weight to their animations. Stop fighting against your rig and get caught up in graph editor! We will be covering a repeatable and actionable workflow. This will increase the weight of your animations.

Students will gain a solid understanding of how to design and animated combat scenes during this class. We will be focusing on creating a heavy attack that is appealing in weight. We will discuss the theories of weight, gravity, and momentum. Follow Yone as he walks you through his thought process. This workflow involves creating key poses, timing and overlapping action, as well as moving holds and overshoots.
