Course Description

The course is intended to provide information on data privacy and to help participants understand why data privacy has become a pressing concern for both private and public organizations. This course will feature legal and technical professionals as well as practitioners dealing with data privacy issues every day. The course covers both theories and data privacy within the contexts of artificial intelligence and social media. The course will cover data privacy issues related to surveillance and new technologies, such as facial recognition, biometrics, journalism, and surveillance. Participants who complete the course are eligible to receive CPE credit.
