Course Description

Data is valuable when it can be used to make decisions or take action in real life.

This microcredential will teach you how to program in R. You'll be able to tidy up harvesting data, wrangle data, and apply statistical models to simulate complex functions.

By using the principles of cognitive perception, and the grammar of graphic graphics, you will be able to create effective data visualisations that support decision-making.

The essential ethical and legal issues surrounding data collection and management will be addressed.

You will learn the skills necessary to be a data scientist, or to use the knowledge that you have to improve your existing organisation.

Data science and analytics are expected to grow seven-fold in the coming years, reaching $103 billion by 2023.

This microcredential meets all the requirements of the Common Microcredential Framework.
