Course Description

Windows Virtual Desktop is an exciting new addition to the growing number of remote applications solutions. Windows 10 Enterprise Virtual Desktop, the long-awaited update to Windows 10, is now available. This course, Deploying Windows Virtual Desktop within Microsoft Azure, will show you how Windows 10 Enterprise Virtual Desktop places multi-session capabilities from Windows Server in its proper place on Microsoft's desktop OS. To understand why Windows 10 multi-session is now available, we will first look at the history of Microsoft's remote applications technologies. Next, you will create and implement a Windows Virtual Desktop tenant within an Azure subscription. Next, you will create a host pool to publish some applications that allow users to experience remote WVD-based applications. You'll then customize Windows 10 EVD and add support for Microsoft's new FSLogix profiles containers. This will allow users to receive their profile data just in time when they log in. You'll have the knowledge to prototyping Windows Virtual Desktop within your Azure subscription by the end of the course.
