Course Description

This course is specifically designed for SAS programmers and business analysts who want to enhance their skills in data manipulation. It covers various techniques such as the SAS DATA step and procedures for accessing, transforming, and summarizing data. This course assumes prior knowledge of SAS programming and is not recommended for beginners.

The course focuses on teaching participants how to control DATA step processing. They will learn how to create accumulating columns and process data in groups. The course primarily covers Base SAS software. Participants should already be familiar with using DATA step code to access data, subset rows and columns, calculate new columns, and conditionally process data.

In addition, participants should have knowledge of sorting tables with the SORT procedure and applying SAS format. This course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of SAS programming basics, ensuring participants have a solid foundation in manipulating data.

Overall, this course is ideal for individuals who want to improve their skills in SAS programming and data manipulation. It offers in-depth training on various techniques and tools necessary for effective data processing.
