Course Description

This course is for students who plan to study at universities where English is their first language. It will help them understand the expectations, build confidence, and develop skills that can be used to learn independently. This course will allow you to review key vocabulary and concepts in a university setting and learn what tutors expect of students. Additionally, you will have the chance to practice skills that will help you improve your vocabulary in an academic setting. This course is part the Pre-sessional English Online Award. FutureLearn has made it possible to earn a degree since 2017. This course can be viewed as a beginner course towards a degree . It will give you an idea of the subject and may also help you to get started on your journey to a degree qualification. You can join FutureLearn's program if you like this course and you are interested in pursuing a degree. You don't have to complete a degree in order to take this course.
