Mark Richards, an independent, hands-on software architect, has more than 30 years of experience in a variety technologies, including J2EE and SOA messaging, microservices architecture and a host other platforms and technologies. He is also the coauthor of many O'Reilly books and videos including Java Message Service, Software Architecture Fundamentals and 97 Essentials Every Software Architect Must Know. Mark has presented at hundreds of technical conferences around the world on a range of topics, including SOA, Java persistence and software architecture.

'Clearing a path to developer or architect and enriching it once you are there. '

Software architecture is a multidisciplinary field that is constantly changing. Many "best practices" are quickly obsolete. No single path or curriculum exists, and different types of architecture--application, integration, enterprise--require different subject emphasis. This collection of tools and guides is for both aspiring and experienced architects, regardless of whether you are just starting out in your career as an architect.
