Course Description

The options in the gaming industry are endless. However, there is a risk that you will make a mistake. This three-week course by D&AD will help you understand where your brand and the brief you are responding to fit in the gaming landscape. It's important to be able to see the future and understand the current landscape in a constantly changing industry. To understand the history and foundations of gaming, as well as the factors that have fueled its growth, you will examine how your brand can use this media to reach the right audience. It doesn't matter if you want to insert your brand into a video game or inspire others with the power of gaming, it is important to understand the steps that your audience will take. Learn about gamers and the role of streamers and influencers, and how brands interact with gaming. There are many options for activations in the gaming industry, but there is one right place and time for brands to engage. Learn how to create briefs that provide the right information and engage platforms, publishers, and streamers. D&AD leads this course and includes content from experts in the field, such as Epic Games and Twitch.
