This course is offered by the International Culinary Studio (ICS). You will learn about food safety and gain the confidence to cook and present safe food.

We'll begin by discussing the reasons behind maintaining high standards of food safety. Next, we'll discuss what all this means and how you can implement processes to keep your workplace clean and tidy.

Food poisoning is one of the greatest risks from poor food hygiene. It can not only be detrimental to your business' reputation, but it can also pose a risk for your customers.

This course will help you understand the causes and prevention of different types food poisoning. This course will also cover hazardous foods and contamination in the kitchen.

Once you are familiar with food safety and hygiene, it is easy to put them into practice. This course will cover all aspects of kitchen hygiene, including handwashing and illness prevention.

The course will teach you how to maintain a safe environment. This includes how to store and receive food safely, as well as how to cook, hold, and prepare food safely. The course will also include COVID-19, and how current pandemics affect food safety procedures.
