Global Quality Maternal and Newborn Care

This course is designed for service users, administrators, advocates, and policy-makers who are interested in improving the quality of maternal and infant care. It provides information, guidelines, and tools to address issues related to quality maternal care and infant care in local settings. The course also focuses on the science behind implementing the midwifery care model to enhance the wellbeing and health of both mothers and babies. The content is based on the Quality Maternal and Newborn Care Framework, which was published in the 2014 Lancet Series. The course features insights and research from nearly 20 experts in low-, medium-, and high-resource settings. By taking this course, participants will gain valuable knowledge and skills to promote and ensure high-quality maternal and newborn care in their respective contexts.
