How To Design A 3D XOXO Ring in Autodesk Fusion 360

Do you want to learn how to create your own jewelry using CAD/CAM software. This is your chance to learn at your own pace. This is an INTERMEDIATE course. Please take one of my beginner courses if you are new to Autodesk Flex 360.

This class uses Autodesk Flex 360. This CAD/CAM software can be used by professionals, but it is free for students, educators, hobbyists, and startups. FOUR SIMPLE STEPS

The arc tool is used to form the ring shape in Step 1. We measure the radius of the ring.

Step 2: Switch to Sheet Metal mode, create a flange and unfold the ring to resize its width.

We add detail to the ring in Step 3 by using the extrude and text tools.

In Step 4, we fold the ring and join its ends to create a solid piece.

This class will give you a solid foundation to create a ring in Sheet Metal mode.
