Human Resources Management Capstone: HR for People Managers

This specialization provides an in-depth introduction to the core principles, policies and practices of human resources management. It focuses on understanding managerial choices, constraints, acquiring talent, managing employee performance, rewarding employees, and understanding managerial choices. Learners have the chance to apply these principles and practices in a real-world setting (including their own workplace). The capstone project will focus on identifying key human resource challenges in a workplace, including the most pressing motivational and selection, performance evaluation, reward, and performance evaluation issues. Learners will create a multi-step plan to address the identified challenges for each area.
