Course Description

This course in Innovation and Entrepreneurship focuses on the interconnection of entrepreneurial thinking and innovation. We will be examining the models that Silicon Valley uses to both grow start-ups and innovation within large companies. This course brings together top Haas School of Business faculty from UC Berkeley. It addresses key areas of successful growth including open innovation, design thinking, financing, product-market fit and business models. This course will help you think like an entrepreneur, and provide the tools and frameworks needed to develop your idea or business. The IT space will be the focus.

This second part, "From Design Thinking to Financing", covers the following topics: design thinking, innovation cycle process, business modeling, and funding.
