Course Description

Introduction to Finance I: Basics will introduce you to the fundamental concepts that are necessary to understand how financial managers make decisions. You will be introduced to the different forms that a business can take, and what the financial manager's goal is. Learn the basics of financial statements, and how financial ratios can be used to assess a company's financial health. You will also learn how to distribute capital over time to create value. You will be able to communicate with people within and outside the business world and become familiar with the major topics of modern finance after you have completed the course. You will be able to make better decisions and plan for your financial future if you have a solid understanding of the financial aspects of the business.
