Course Description

The need for technology that is compatible with all devices and allows for secure implementation is essential. Traditional protocols like Kerberos, WSTrust, WSFederation, and SAML are being replaced by OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT. These newer protocols offer a more distributed and interoperable approach to security architectures. OpenID Connect and OAuth2 are closely related and can be used together to facilitate secure authentication and authorization processes. JSON is also utilized in web applications in conjunction with OAuth2 and OpenID Connect. Overall, the adoption of these modern protocols enables improved security and flexibility in various digital environments.
