Course Description

Organisational development (OD), which uses behavioural science, helps you to implement techniques and systems that will improve your organization's performance and culture. This three-week course will teach you the fundamental concepts of OD as well as the skills necessary to explain the major theories and ideas behind organisational development. This course is ideal if you are looking to transition into an OD position or if you wish to improve your existing role by using organisational development techniques. Organisational development is a process that helps people change, improve and transform the system in order to realize the strategy. This course will provide an overview of OD strategy and the relationship it has to capability. This course will help you identify OD models and theories to support your organisational development approach.

We'll also be discussing the various types of data and how they can be used to support your OD processes. Apart from using the OD toolskit of methods, tests and techniques, OD practitioners must also be constantly changing, adapting, and developing. This course will teach you about the "use of self" and why it is important to focus on your personal development and self-knowledge in order to improve your organisation's development.
