The fourth and final course of the Core Java Specialization is Java Class Library. The Core Java Specialization is one of several programming specializations derived from LearnQuest's Java Bootcamps. It was created to give you the skills necessary to work as an IT developer in many corporate environments using Java.
This course will teach you how to create reusable code using Java Generics that is type-safe, manage collections of objects, deal with files, and handle errors. You can also learn how to use Java frameworks like Spring Boot and Jakarta EE. The Java 8 class library contains over 4200 classes, and there are many new ones that have been added to the Java 8 class library. This course will discuss additional language features, library areas and areas that are essential for the class library. It also provides a roadmap to help you explore these areas. You should have completed Course 1: Introduction Java - Course 2 : Introduction to Object Oriented Programming using Java - or equivalent knowledge to be successful in this course.
