Course Description

The course introduces students to the basic concepts of mathematics, such as set theory and propositional logic. Students will learn to (1) identify the logic structure that underlies simple puzzles at the end.

(2) Be able to manipulate logic expressions

(3) Explain the relationship between logic and set theory

(4) Explain the difference between complex, natural, integer, rational and real numbers
