Course Description

Case Study: Predicting Housing Price

The first case study is about how to predict house prices. From inputs (square footage and number bedrooms), you will create models that predict a consistent value (price). Regression can also be used in other areas. Regression can also be used to predict stock prices and other health outcomes, analyze regulators that affect gene expression, or forecast financial markets.

This course will show you how to use regularized regression models to select and predict features. You will be able to select from many models and manage large amounts of features. Analyzing the impact of outliers on your models and predictions will help you to make informed decisions. These algorithms can be applied to large data sets to ensure that the models fit.
