Course Description

R is quickly becoming the most popular language for data science and statistics. R is today the preferred tool for data scientists in all industries and fields. R is the right tool for you, whether you're a full-time data cruncher or a casual analyst.

This course will introduce you to R programming. It will take you through seven sections. You will learn the syntax of R and how to use it to analyze data. The final section will allow you to explore the graphics capabilities of R and create stunning data visualizations. You don't need any prior knowledge of programming or data science.

This course is unique because you'll be able to continuously practice your new skills using interactive in-browser code challenges via the DataCamp platform. Instead of watching videos and passively learning, you will be solving real data problems and receiving personalized feedback to guide you towards the right solution.

This course will give you hands-on experience with R commands.

These are the course outcomes:

R syntax and the basics of R language. How to create visualizations with R using the major R data structures

Microsoft has co-created this course and it is accredited
