Migrate SQL workloads to Azure (DP-050T00)

The course will cover the goals of modernizing data platforms and the benefits it offers for specific business needs. They will explore the various stages of modernizing data platforms and identify the tasks involved in each phase, including the planning and assessment phases. The students will also be able to learn about the various migration tools available and their suitability for each stage in the data migration process. The student will be able to migrate to three platforms that support SQL-based workloads: Azure Virtual Machines (Azure SQL Databases), Azure SQL Database Managed Istances (Azure SQL Database Managed Instances) and Azure SQL SQL Database Managed Machines (Azure SQL Database Managed Machines). Each target platform has its advantages and disadvantages. The student will also learn how to use them to meet both technical and business requirements. To make the most of Azure's modern data platforms, the student will examine what changes may be required to existing SQL-based applications.
