Course Description

PHP is the most popular server language on the internet. PHP: Getting Started will show you how to get started. It covers topics like installing a webserver, PHP and the MySQL database server. You will first learn how to process data from forms and then store it in a MySQL table. You will then learn how to avoid common security pitfalls and take care to avoid them. You will also learn how to create a sample application that supports authorization and authentication. You will be able to use PHP by the end of the course. However, this course will not provide a comprehensive introduction to the syntax of PHP.
