Program OverviewAre you an automotive enthusiast? Are you an avid observer of the development, features and evolutions of automobiles? We understand how exciting it is to follow your passion and keep up to date in this field. It would be much more fun and interesting to have the opportunity to experience the entire process from design and development through construction. We have created a Post Graduate Diploma in Design & Development of a Passenger Car (SUV) for car enthusiasts and those who want to make a career out of it.
This course will help you create a complete vehicle (SUV) starting from scratch and ending with design freeze. You will learn about the engineering concepts behind each component and the challenges encountered during development. This course will give you an in-depth understanding of the methods used by all OEMs worldwide, including Benchmarking and Localization. The course will equip students with the knowledge and skills to complete the vehicle development process, both in 3D modeling and the physical parts. CATIA and NX CAD are the preferred 3D modeling software by most OEMs. You will get hands-on training in both of these programs.
