Course Description

Health is an essential part of your life. Your health is a vital asset. What you eat can affect your weight, your energy, and your susceptibility for certain health conditions. To learn how to nourish your body and eat well, you don't need a degree in nutrition. This ExpertTrack will introduce you to personalisation in the kitchen. It will cover four areas: low sugar or sugar conscious; gut supportive; free-from; and vegan. To understand why these requirements are so important and how to maintain nutrition balance and taste in your food, you will embark on a food-first trip. You will learn how to prepare healthy meals for different dietary preferences. As you learn new healthy ingredients and creative ways to use them, you will be able to create delicious recipes and expand your culinary repertoire. Learn about the importance of gut health. Gut-healthy foods can not only provide nutrition but also improve mental and physical well-being. Learn about the role of probiotics, fibre, and prebiotics in your gut health, as well as how to prepare nutritious food. Learn more about the vegan diet. You will learn how to make delicious, nutritious, healthy vegan meals. You can easily maintain a healthy diet on a vegan diet, whether you are a new or experienced vegan. With confidence, you can approach food allergies and intolerances. You will be shown the most common food allergens. Also, you will learn the difference between food intolerances and allergies to help you make safe meals. You will learn about ingredient alternatives to help choose healthy and delicious food for your health. Learn how to make sugar-free and low sugar diets. This ExpertTrack will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to successfully navigate special dietary requirements.
