Course Description

Financial problems are often seen as a barrier to better lives. Principles of Sustainable Finance describes how financial institutions can be used to combat this. We can use finance to help achieve our social goals and divert the world from its present path towards a sustainable future. This course will teach you about the UN Sustainable Development Goals and how they should be treated as externalities. You will also learn about sustainable banking, asset management, effective engagement, sustainability scenario analysis, and long-term value creating.

This course will help you understand the role of sustainable finance in guiding the transition to sustainability.
