Course Description

Agility is the ability to quickly react to unpredicted situations and to respond to uncertain requirements in the context of product development.

This course will teach you how to apply the principles and values agile to project management.

Additionally, you will have the chance to create a working approach that includes all the steps, activities, and participant roles required for an agile project. You'll also learn how to mobilize the right resources and tools.

Waterfall project management is linear in nature, while agile is continuous development and testing.

Both styles of project management will be explored and you'll learn how to manage uncertainty and risk within the context of each.

Scrum is an agile method that helps teams work together and facilitates projects. This methodology encourages self-organization, learning from experience and continuous reflection on losses and wins in order to improve.

This course will cover the role of scrum as project management. It will also include exercises, events, and quizzes that will help you master this method of working. Finally, we'll discuss how timeboxing (allocating time) can be used in a scrum environment.
