Course Description

Anyone who is developing a product or service should be aware of the product risks. As many as 40% to 60% fail to live up to expectations, this topic is critical. As a product manager, your goal is to make sure that these risks are addressed before you invest time or money in improving your product. This course, Reducing product risk, will help you identify and address four major risks that can impact product development. You'll first learn about the four major product risks, including value risk, demand risk, feasibility risk, and business viability risk. Then, you will explore how each could affect your product or company. You'll then learn about different testing methods for each of these four risks. You'll also learn how to collaborate with UX designers, technical team members, and stakeholders in testing and validating assumptions. You'll be able to use this course to learn how to reduce product risk and ensure high levels of confidence before product development begins.
