Course Description

This course teaches teachers how to create a computing curriculum that is suitable for students aged 11-16. It uses free online resources to supplement their existing material. The TCC is an entirely free resource that helps computing teachers plan lessons, homework and assess their students. The TCC contains all educators need to inspire and teach computing at key stage 1 through 4. It is authored by subject experts who have been informed by the most recent thinking. The TCC's underlying principles and pedagogical methods will be explained and how you can adapt them for your own classroom.

You'll learn how to incorporate the TCC into your curriculum to fill in any gaps. This will help you to support your teaching of computing. The TCC assessment materials will be combined with your school's system. You will also learn how formative assessment can help your pedagogy and how resources can be modified to meet the needs of your school's learners. You'll be able to learn from the Raspberry Pi Foundation computing experts how to create a curriculum that is high-quality for your computing classes.
