Course Description

This course introduces learners to foreign or second language theories and practices. These are used to teach and assess listening, speaking and pronunciation. The course will also introduce learners to the basics of second language acquisition and their implications for teaching. Teachers will be encouraged to examine purpose, content, as well as technique in order to understand the importance of establishing a teaching philosophy.
