Course Description

70% of managers report that they have increased their design team's headcount in the last year. UX designers are highly in demand.

UX designers are responsible for optimizing customer experiences with new products and existing offerings.

UX designers can do this by conducting user research and creating customer personas.

This course will give you the ability to analyze research and data to identify customer profiles and personas, and to gain an in-depth understanding of how users interact and use a product.

Examine elements of organisational culture, including cross-cultural design, employee experience design (EXD), and the 6 cultural dimensions.

Additionally, you will learn how to use visual tools like culture maps to understand the people and their motivations.

Learn problem solving techniques as well as project management methods such Lean and Agile.

These methods will be evaluated and discussed.

This course will cover the essential elements of a design Sprint, their workings and the reasons they are so important to ensure positive user experiences. After you have mastered the core principles, you can create your own design sprint using Jira.

The course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to manage UX projects, design sprints, customer personas, and project management to further your career.
