Course Description

Multiple method is a popular method of firm valuation. Financial professionals often use PER to quickly estimate a firm's value. This course will teach you the concepts and use of PER, PRR, and PSR. You will also learn how to estimate enterprise value and founder ownership prior to and after additional funding. Before a startup can go public, it will need several financings. This course will help you answer questions like: What price per share should a startup set based on future earnings; How many shares should the founder give up in order to raise more capital? The multiple and discounted cash flow methods give you earnings or cash flows so that you can estimate firm value. This course will also teach you how to create cash flows from financial statements. This course will help you understand financial statements like balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow calculation.
