Course Description

This course is design-centric and focuses on the question of what an interface looks like. It also examines what the role of a designer in creating user interfaces. Interfaces should function seamlessly and clearly by learning how to communicate meaning through color, type and imagery. You will learn about the various components and elements that make up an interface designer's skill set through a series of lectures. You will be able describe the essential elements of a clear, consistent, intuitive UI design and then apply these skills to designing a static screen-based interface.
