Course Description

This MOOC covers Disaster Risk Reduction, humanitarian aid and conflict setting. This E-course was designed for professionals, but is also available to students and other interested persons. Participants will be challenged to reflect on humanitarian aid, DRR, and disaster response when conflict has occurred in the past, present, or in the future. They also learn about the difficult choices faced by humanitarian agents in these conflict situations. You will also learn how to identify the various challenges, and positive, effective examples of assistance in each type of conflict setting. Learning is fun and relevant through interviews, guest lectures, and case-studios. All that you have learned can be used in practice.

Curious? You can see our trailer below in the MOOC's first module.
