Course Description

This tutorial will show you how to use Photoshop to create aged and weathered textures. These videos will show you how to create basic wood textures and metallic textures. We will also discuss how time affects them and give objects a unique look. Learn how to make grunge layers, and how to peel off layers of paint to reveal the original material beneath. Also, we'll learn how to extract specular and normal maps from project files. Finally, we will see how these maps look when added into a scene in 3ds max. Software needed: 3ds Max 2010, Photoshop, CS4
