Course Description

Blended learning is a popular topic in education, but what does it mean? This course aims to explore the different models of blended learning and the impact it has on students, teachers, and schools. Through the perspectives of three high-performing schools, we will delve into key issues such as student roles and the support needed for their transition to blended learning. We will also examine the day-to-day roles of teachers and how blended learning affects the construction of schools, including staffing models, time allocation, software selection, and data usage.

The course will address implementation challenges and offer potential solutions. To promote blended learning, students will be encouraged to complete quizzes in each module to assess their understanding and skim through familiar material. Hands-on learning will be emphasized, with participants creating their blended learning models.

This MOOC goes beyond technology-enhanced education by teaching participants how to encourage others to join the movement. By joining this course, individuals will gain insights into how blended learning can provide a personalized learning experience for students.
