Course Description

This is the third course in the specialization on learning how to create video games using the C++ programming languages and the Unreal engine on Windows or Mac.

The prerequisite knowledge you have from the two previous courses in this specialization is required for this course. Before you start this course, it is important to have the knowledge from either previous courses or personal experience. You'll continue to build your C++ and Unreal foundations by continuing to explore more C++ topics. Module 1: Understand how abstraction is important for software development and how to design and implement console apps Module 2: Discover how functions work "under the cover" Module 3: Create and implement Unreal classes, and then include them in a game. Learn how strings work in C++ and an Unreal HUD Module4 - Expand your knowledge of pointers and add sound effects for an Unreal game
