Course Description

This series of lessons will teach you how to transform a 2D image into 3D scenes using Maya camera projection. We'll be able quickly to create realistic scenes by using a reference image within Maya. This project will begin with an introduction to camera projection and what makes a good project image. Next, we'll set up our camera in Maya to match move and then look at how to position it. After we have set up our camera, we will create the projection shader. Then we'll model the rest and then animate a second camera. Next, we'll look at different techniques for completing the scene and adding a skydome. For added realism, we'll add reflective geometry to our final step. Maya 2011 or higher software required.
