Course Description

It is important to have a deeper understanding of the religions of the world and their ecological impacts. This course is intended to open up the rich ecological aspects of the Christian religious tradition. We will explore unique contributions of Orthodox, Catholic, and Protestant Christianity and examine their views on the natural world. We also discuss the relationship between Christianity, environmental justice, and evangelical approaches to "creation love".
