This Lab walkthrough will show you how to create a Virtual Network, and then deploy two Virtual Machines onto that network. These virtual machines will be configured to allow one machine to ping another within the virtual network.

Introduction

What is Azure Virtual Network?

Azure Virtual Network (VNet), is the foundation of your private network in Azure.

VNet functions in a similar way to traditional networks, but it has additional benefits such as isolation, availability, and scaling.

Azure virtual network allows Azure resources to securely connect with each other over the internet or on-premises networks.

You can achieve important scenarios with a virtual network.
