Course Description

DeFi and the Future of Finance consists of four courses that are focused on decentralized finance. DeFi Deep Dive is the third course. It is important that you complete the DeFi Infrastructure and II courses. Before you start this course, please complete DeFi Primitives. This course is the longest and covers the most important protocols in DeFi. We will be looking at Credit and Lending, and feature MakerDAO and Compound and Aave, Decentralized Exchange, and an analysis how protocols like Uniswap and Balancer work, Derivatives (featuring Yield Protocol and Synthetix), Tokenization, and an analysis both of Set Protocol and wrapped bitcoin. We provide detailed examples of the mechanics of many of these top protocols. We show you how to use the dYdX flash Swap to execute an arbitrage transaction. This allows you to take advantage of different prices on different exchanges to purchase the same asset.
