Design your Dream Bathroom in Sketchup - Beginner 3D Modeling, Interior Design, Bathroom Design

This lesson will cover the steps required to create your dream bathroom with Google Sketchup.

If you are new to Sketchup , please check out my lesson. This lesson will teach you how to use Sketchup's basic functions and tools. If you are interested, check out the lesson on Garden Design!

This lesson can be used by beginners and shouldn't prove to be too difficult!

These are the steps to this lesson

• Create a 2D bathroom plan. This involves measuring up with a tape and drawing a flat plan with precise dimensions.
• Take that sketch and create a 3D room in Sketchup.
• Browse inspiration images online to find our design direction
• Use 3D Warehouse to add essential elements to your bathroom, including toilet, sinks and shower.
• To create a complete bathroom, add textures and more elements
• Sketchup allows you to export images to be used wherever you like

This lesson will teach us how to quickly access the 3D Warehouse to quickly grab elements that we want to use in our design.
