Course Description

This tutorial demonstrates how to manage an elementary application's lifecycle using the Red Hat(r) OpenShift(r). Learn how to build and deploy an application using the existing Docker image, then scale the application according to demands for workload and then upgrade it to a more recent version, and then restore the application to an earlier version. Red Hat OpenShift is a top platform for managing containers in the cloud. It offers a secure and flexible infrastructure to run and deploy applications, which makes it an ideal tool for developers as well as DevOps professionals. With OpenShift it is easy to deploy, scale and manage your apps and automate the build, testing, and deployment processes. In this project that is guided you'll be introduced to the basic principles of OpenShift as well as gain hands-on experience using the platform by completing a set of interactive activities. This project is guided and uses the OpenShift CLI tool to accomplish the tasks.
