Course Description

A network designer is at the heart of every network's life. He or she must assess the needs of future applications and create a design that meets those requirements. Introduction to Cisco Network Design (200-310) is the first course in a series that centers around Cisco's key objectives for network designers at the associate level. The first part of the Cisco design cycle will cover the theory behind what you should ask and how to search for it. Next you will learn about the design documentation and what to look for in the old network designs. Finally, you will be able to perform a network audit. This is a great course if your preference is hands-on. The course concludes with a discussion about design, which covers both the top-down and bottom-up theories of network design. This course will provide the foundations for how you can continue your journey with Cisco's road map.
