Course Description

This course will give students the foundations needed to pursue a career as an investment banker, valuation analyst, or other corporate finance-related fields. This course is intended to teach the practical application of valuation and financial statement analysis techniques that are commonly used by professionals in the industry.

There are two main parts to the course. The first is about the fundamental elements of ratio and financial analysis. The second uses common industry valuation techniques to apply the financial statements and forecasts in the context of company appraisal.
