JQuery Advanced Topics

This course will cover advanced topics in jQuery. You will learn how to use jQuery beyond the simple task of manipulating and selecting DOM nodes. The course covers topics such as authoring plugins for internal and external projects, improving performance for DOM selection and insertion and customizing jQuery for more defaults or named constants. You will also learn how to use the data method to store, retrieve, manipulate arrays and collections using jQuery's utility methods. And handling events accurately even for dynamically generated DOM nosdes. The course covers deferred objects, promises and CommonJS. For most concepts covered, code examples are provided.
