Course Description

These topics are closely aligned to the knowledge domains that have been tested by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation Certified Kubernetes Application Developer Program (CKAD). This will significantly increase students' chances of becoming certified. A Certified Kubernetes App Developer (CKAD), can create, build and deploy Kubernetes-native applications. A CKAD is able to define application resources and use Kubernetes Core Primitives to create/migrate/configure, expose, and monitor scalable applications. This exam requires a working knowledge of microservice architecture and container runtimes. The successful candidate will feel comfortable working with container images that are OCI-compliant. They will also be able to apply Cloud Native concepts and architectures.
