Course Description

This course will give you a hands-on experience with load testing using the most popular open-source performance tester JMeter. This course will teach you how to use JMeter, even if you don't have any previous knowledge of JMeter.

The course begins with an introduction to JMeter and then guides you through installing and configuring JMeter on your computer. Next, you'll learn how to playback JMeter scripts and analyze the load with listeners. Finally, you'll understand the importance and role of the thread group within JMeter. You will also learn about assertions and controllers in JMeter. A flight search application will help you to understand the importance of regular expressions in JMeter. You will learn how to perform data-driven testing in JMeter and how to handle dynamic responses. You will learn how to run BeanShell scripting, perform JMeter validations using non-GUI mode and test on the client machine. You will also learn how Selenium can be integrated with JMeter.

This course will equip you with the skills to create robust performance tests cases in the JMeter tool. You will also be able monitor the performance of applications with different load parameters.
