Course Description

Concurrent programming starts with a solid understanding of JavaScript's single thread execution. You will learn how to easily reason about JavaScript's execution times in Reasoning About Asynchronous JavaScript. To avoid race conditions, you will learn how to stop writing code defensively, how to exploit parallelism and how to take advantage JavaScript's single threaded nature. This course will provide a foundational understanding of concurrent programming in single-threaded environments that will be useful as you progress in your knowledge of Asynchronous JavaScript.
